Our Philosophy: Inquiry

Inquiry
It’s what drives Indus World School. We do not underplay the importance of knowing one’s self, without which it is nearly impossible to realize one’s full potential. Our aim is to everyday help the learner achieve this highest level of knowledge — self-realisation.

Our pledge
Imbibe it in everything you do is the simple mantra. Be it at a biology lesson or on the playground, the Indusian is encouraged to ask, ask and ask some more. Constant inquiry is the path that will one day help the child arrive at the answer to the biggest question of all – who am I?

The Spirit
Sustaining an environment where questions are encouraged is extremely essential for any child to finally be able to comprehend her purpose in the world. We firmly hold that if we are not asked enough questions, we have failed; we have no right to be in education. If the questions stop so does learning. We have pledged to never let the spirit of inquiry, the method of learning by asking and discovering to die.
