Process
Our mentors are trained to help your child find her inherent talent and develop it into a pursuable career dream. Careful and detailed observations and records are maintained of each child. Strengths, weaknesses, natural talent, likes & dislikes, personality traits are monitored and recorded year on year and shared with you periodically. By the time your child is in the eighth class, we get a clear indication of her special area of talent. Now is where our specialist psychologists come in.
Aptitude – Personality - Interests
By mapping these three important aspects of your child, the correct career choice is arrived at:
Aptitude: the natural ability and intelligence that your child is born with. It is the biggest indicator of what a child is capable of becoming.
Personality: is your child shy or outgoing, is she aggressive or calm? Knowing what kind of personality your child has, is key to understanding if she will do well and be happy in a particular job or profession.
Interest: Does your child like mechanical objects? Does she look forward to sitting at home and reading or going out to play? Interests are much more than hobbies. They are the special things that each child would love doing forever.
Resolving a career-choice
A perfect match of these three (API) is what makes a great career choice. For instance despite having an aptitude for the sciences, and a keen interest in it, a naturally shy and introverted person may not make a very successful physician or doctor. Such a person may however make a successful career in academic research or medicine. Guidance and counseling are imperative to a resolved and clear career choice.
