As a part of the work experience classes, a potter was called to the school. The students had an experience of working at the potter's wheel, churning out their own creations from wet clay. They made exquisite pots, vases and earthen lamps, which they painted and decorated later in the art class.
Students of grade to II - VIII visited a nearby Dairy Farm and witnessed the production of various milk products. They also interviewed the staff and employees of the Dairy Plant to enquire from where the supply of milk came, what was the total production and how it was marketed.
The students of grade V-VIII got a feel of the electoral process by participation in the procedure for selection and appointment of the school prefectorial board. The students of Grade VI contested for election to the post of Vice Captains of the four houses. Students of Grade VII &n VIII contested for election to the post of House Captains.
All candidates underwent a series of selection stages right from submission of their resume and manifestos to presenting an election speech and then finally an interview with the management. Election with ballot papers was held as one of the rounds for selection.
A simple and solemn swearing in ceremony was held to initiate the selected candidates to the posts of Captains and Vice-Captains. The programme began with lighting of the lamp and a prayer Dance. It was followed by a group song and a couple of messages from the Principal and the school Administrator. The students were then administered the oath of Office and were duly bestowed with the badge and sash by the chairperson and his wife.
A charitable bake Sale was organized by the students of Grades III, V & VII wherein the students brought a number of mouth watering eatables for sale at their stalls. Students right from Nursery to Grade VIII participated in the event with great fervor and enthusiasm. All together an amount of Rs. 3500/- was collected which shall be spent for a charitable purpose.
